Ardmore
Santa arrives in Ardmore Friday, Dec. 6, for the town’s annual holiday tree-lighting and celebration, presented by the Ardmore Initiative, the Ardmore Business Association and First Friday Main Line.
At 6 p.m., the Jolly Old Elf will arrive at Schauffele Plaza on Lancaster Avenue via fire truck, courtesy of the Merion Fire Co. of Ardmore. Santa will light the holiday tree, provided by Shreiner Tree Care of Ardmore. Members of 6:8 Community Church will lead the crowd in caroling.
The festivities then move inside the atrium at Plaza 16, just off Schauffele Plaza at 16 E. Lancaster Ave., where Santa will hear children’s wish lists and everyone can warm up with cocoa and cookies from Melodies Café.
