Main Line Media is developing a Guide to the Main Line mobile app

Today I am very excited to announce the development of a new Main Line Media mobile app - Guide to the Main Line.

This app will have several features including the ability to “guide” the user to local dining, shopping, and entertainment venues both on the entire Main Line and through individual townships and boroughs.

Allow me to briefly explain the layout of the app.

The user will load up the app to a home screen like the image shown here. From there you will have access to shopping and dining listings for the entire Main Line, from Bala Cynwyd to Malvern, through buttons titled “Shopping” and “Dining.”

Of course, many of us may want to look at a more hyper-local list of venues, for instance, in Ardmore. This will be available too, by selecting the town you would like to visit and then selecting the kind of venue you would like to know more about (food, recreation, etc.) Main Line residents, employees and visitors will be able to find local businesses and more.

The app will also highlight local events from 2012-2013 through photo slideshows and more.
